Teens are Vulnerable

Below are three reasons teens can’t sleep.  It is important to note that teens are a  vulnerable group. This is due to their high drug addiction rate. Their sleep problems could lead them in a bad direction.  For example, they are more likely  to  use sleep aids. Factors Impacting Teens’ Sleep

There are three problems that can lead to sleep issues.  

1.  First is high cortisol at night.

2.  Second is the inability to turn-off the mind.

3. Third is the failure to produce enough melatonin. Related is the body’s failure to produce serotonin.  Serotonin is necessary for melatonin production.
